Anyone have a source for these...with proper extention and low profile gas block intalled?? I'm wanting to build a long range gun.

Is there even enough powder for any gains from the length of barrel? I believe the 6.8 SPC was designed with a short barrel CQB combat in mind.

From Remington "Three separate loadings will be available. A 115-grain full metal jacket, a 115 BTHP, and a 115-grain Matchking. The latter, no doubt intended for long range precision work. All will be loaded to a muzzle velocity of 2,800 f.p.s. in a 24-inch barrel." http://www.remington.com/magazine/current/2004_0309.asp

Here's some data from the computer simulations. For a H322 load that will do 2647 from a 18":

16" - 2582
18" - 2647
20" - 2704
22" - 2750
24" - 2796
26" - 2835
