Hello all,

       I was at the Nations Gun Show in Chantilly last weekend.  Normally, I rarely see retro AR parts at gun shows in VA or MD.  
Kind of a retro desert.  However, I came across a table that had A1 handguards and front sight blocks.  I picked up one FSB and
two handguard sets, one shinny and one flat for $40 a set.



The handguards are in excellent shape, and the FSB has fairly sharp bell and C forge marks.



 I plan to use the shinny handguard set on an XM16E1 "dummy" clone, and the flat guards on a future 606 build.  I plan to send
the FSB to John Thomas in the near future for reparking and to be mounted on a new retro barrel for my M16A1 clone.  It was
a good trip indeed, and I thought I would share it with you all.
