Is it some kind of thermo sight?
Link Posted: 9/9/2003 10:01:09 AM EST
If that is a thermal sight, it is the most compact one I have ever seen. I'm guessing some type of digital sight - digital night vision maybe?

Is that the KAC/Raytheon TIPS entry or something else? Edited to add: I guess it is something else since I just found out the Raytheon owns Elcan. Since that doesn't look anything like the Specter I'd guess it is someone else's product.

KAC's KnightScope and Ratheon's Thermal version. The Insight TWS is being looked for adoption for the CF for some of our units. Ed, I did not get a chance to shoot this one :( TWS's I have shot have been a fuzzy kinda swirl (I guess from the gases/bullet) in either white or black. depn what the contrast was set to. I wish I had $30k US kicking around...

Kev... Got you for once! I shot the larger version of this on a M-24. Nice to see the size reduced even more. Excellent resolution on the older version. As you Great White North guys say "excellent piece of kit."

The gun is my buddies, but.... I have no idea where he picked up the ARMS M203 Quadrant. The CF is now going to an improved C8A2 carbine (for some of us folk) with a FF (RASII, URX, etc?) handguard that will be FF M203 compatible. The sight was a demo unit :( Suppressor is the BR-Tuote Reflex Suppressor - T8 ARM4C http://www.canadiantactical.ca/main.html
