The good ol'e days of the paper driven supply system where you could Accidently order stuff is over. You can try but the supply system computer will reject it if your not coded/autherized to order weapons / weapons parts. Also someone with no sense of humor may ask why you tried to order an M16.

You can check the stock # on FED LOG though...

Why put it on the rifle? They are not on the issued rifles... For that matter I dont see that it would hurt but I am no expert

I love the unit price of $449,my used Colt Match Target rifle was EUR1300 over here in the Netherlands.
