To those of you who've elected not to co-witness, have you discovered any problems with this?

The BUIS still work don't they?

I'm looking into fwd mounting systems and haven't decided yet if co-witnessing is important to me yet. I kinda feel like I'd like just a bit more FOV in my window.

Thanks.

When you don't co-witness, you end up with the optic window too high for the BUIS to work. so your only option if anything goes wrong is to remove the optic and enable your BUIS. I have guns that will not co-witness and I am okay with that. co-witness is not an essential requirement. most of the optic on the market are quick detachable anyway. and if danger is immediate, you should always transition no matter what.

Thanks, Lee. Thats what I needed to know. Not what I wanted to hear, but I can't have everything.
