I LIKE THIS THING!
IT COVERS THE SIDES AND BOTTOM OF THE FRONT SIGHT TOWER, PROVIDING MORE ROOM FOR MOUNTING GEAR ON A CARBINE LENGTH GAS SYSTEM UPPER.  HERE IT IS WITH MY 14.5" UPPER LIGHT OF CHOICE INSTALLED:  IT IS OF COURSE EXTREMELY LIGHT, YET APPEARS TO BE SUFFICIENTLY STOUT. ALTHOUGH I PREFER A VERTICAL GRIP, PERSONALLY, THE OVAL CROSS SECTION FEELS GOOD IN THE HAND. WE HAVE ORDERED OUR DANIEL DEFENSE FORENDS WITH THE FALCON INDUSTRIES LADDER PANELS WHICH WE HAVE USED BEFORE AND LIKE. ONCE THEY'RE INSTALLED, THEY WANT TO STAY INSTALLED, SO I TOOK THE PICS USING SOME KAC PANELS. WE HAVE PLENTY OF THEM, AS WELL. THIS 9.5 FSP IS INSTALLED ON A LEWIS MACHINE & TOOL 14.5" UPPER. 2 questions: how hard is it to install and what is the basic procedure? how much does it cost? TIA |

THE D-D M4 9.5 FSP INSTALLS MUCH LIKE ANY OTHER FREE FLOATING FOREND. THERE IS ONE NOTABLE EXCEPTION, THOUGH. THE FRONT SIGHT TOWER WITH GAS TUBE INSTALLED IS SLID ONTO THE WEAPON WITH THE FOREND, IN ITS POSITION RELATIVE TO THE FOREND. YOU CAN'T INSTALL THE FOREND AND THEN SLIDE THE FRONT SIGHT TOWER THROUGH THE FOREND AND INTO ITS PROPER POSITION.

That is what I have been using for several months now. Wes did not have them at the time so I got mine elsewhere but I can't say enough good things about the Rail or about Wes. You can't go wrong buying one of these. It has enough room for a Vert grip, a Harris Bipod, and enough pannel space in front of the vert grip to get a conventional hold on the rifle.

Looks awesome.....On a side note as soon as I get my mid length barrel back, the upper will be heading to you to install the 9.0 version ;) |

What's the word on the 12.0FSP? Any plans for that? Their website has a poor distant picture of it but the damn thing is scary hypnotic! Talk about MRE!
