She's the product of three years of BRD and parts swapping.

When the retro bug bit me I ended up buying a couple of complete assemblies to get period correct parts for my SBR XM177E2 clone.  That left me with a slick-side upper and a Colt fiberlite stock.

The barrel is left over from changing another carbine to an M4 style barrel.

The mil-spec receiver extension is left over from a friend's quest to find the "perfect" stock.  It was a MOE and since it came with a new extension, he gave me the one that came on the gun.

The A1 birdcage flash-hider was on an A1 upper I gave to my father in law.  He wanted a 3-prong so...

The slip ring came with the upper as a bonus part.

The pistol grip was bought as a spare, so I used it here.

The good news is the bin is much lighter now!

Very nice, it looks a lot like my GUU-5p clone.
