Hogue grip?  That LMT BUIS is really cool.
Now I gotta get one.

Thank you fellers I love it, weighs a ton less then my 'ol 20" A2. Grip is a Hogue, and get this---the sling is a DELL......dell laptop carry strap. Man I'm a cheap-ass.

I got my inspiration for another guys carbine in the pic thread. Though he does have the M4 profile barrel. Couldn't see paying more for less barrel, so just went with a standard CAR A3 upper.

I already commented on this in the picture thread, but I really like the basic, clean, and functional look of your build.

Very nice!!

nice build, i am looking to build the exact same setup.  just out of curiosity as this will be my first ar, is it balanced well?  total weight?  :)

It's very well balanced, haven't weighed it yet, but after carting a 20" Hbar A2 around for so long it feels very light, and certainly more manueverable. I really notice a difference when slung on my back.

Isn't that cool, Dell combat products. The material is really good for a sling and it's 1.5" wide--so it worked out really well. I think I'm gonna have my wife sew some OD green tabs on it instead of the paracord though.
