I bought the kit from Lauer Custom Weaponry, The color is Coyote Brown. I not going to paint the upper receiver because I like the black and brown contrast look. there a are more parts in the paint process at this time, I will post pics of the finished product when complete.

Contrast, its what you look for in the field. Finish painting the rifle or the black is going to give you away.

Nice job.  I have been using Duracoat for a few months now on different parts.  I have duracoated my climbing helmet and some other odds and ends.  It's addicting.

Is there a desert in Massachusetts or are you heading over to Fallujah for the holidays?

If you are going for a good desert camo look, you should paint the whole rifle coyote brown and then add detail.
