Ok, here are my choices. The Bushmaster Modular model which is like the 25th
anniversary for $1099 or a Knights stoner SR-15 M4 for $1400 that comes
with a Aimpoint ML2, a Knights cantaliver mount and a Knights vertical grip.
When you look at the going rate for the two rifles along with the extras on
the SR-15 M4 it seems like the Knights would be the easy choice. Here are
the positives and negitives as I see them. The Bushmaster comes with a 16"
fluted chrome lined barrel and the Knights comes with a M4 14.5" barrel with
a fake flash hider. I know that the M4's are the rage but I think that is a
good advantage for the Bushmaster. The Bushmaster also comes with a flip up
front and rear site where as the knight comes with a rear flip up only. I
like to not see the front site in my scope picture. The Bushmaster also
comes with a ACE stock where as the Knights comes with the A2. The
Bushmaster also is free floated and last they are know for great customer
service. The advantages for the Knights are that it has the RAS modular
handguard system and it is thought to be the best of the bunch where as the
Bushmaster uses the BMAS. The Knights also has a Knights 2 stage trigger
(which goes for $300) which is supposed to be great where as the Bushmaster
is supposed to have a poor one. The Knights coming with a Aimpoint ML2,
cantaliver mount and vertical grip would be cheaper by $150-$200 if I sold
off the scope and mount. Last is from what I have read on posts people say
that the Knights is a very good AR-15 but is over priced. With the
accessories the Knights would be priced well. So what do you think? Is their
anymore positives or negitives that one rifle has over the other as far as
you know? Given this situation which way would you go? I'm making the
decision tomorrow so your feedback would be great. Thanks

If the Knights has the specific accessories you want, you will not find a better deal at that price. Likewise, if it doesn't, you are paying extra for things you plan to replace. I don't have any experience with the BMAS line (mostly by design) so I can't comment on it.

The KAC is a better deal. I would just build my own from parts after more research.

I love Bushmasters but I’d take that night rifle over the Bushmaster in a heartbeat. Best regards, J
