I got a postban colt MT 6530 a while back and when sunset lifted I decided it was time to give my gun a makeover. I started out by switching out the upper to a Bushmaster A2 m4 profile upper (I have a thing for A2's I am not much of a flat top guy). The colt upper was nice but I wanted threaded barrel/bayo lug/chrome lining/ and 1/9" twist. I kept the colt bolt assembly and charging handle to use in it. I ordered a OTAL/Surefire Scout/Surefirem73/CQD FG from g&r tactical (will be ordering from them again real soon great service). I also put on a CQD sling adapter. All great products and mounted firmly. Of course no m4gery is complete without some kind of collapsible stock so I bought one from RRA as well as a soft ergo grip. And I kept my trijicon compact acog I got back during the "trijicon famine" but I think I am going to switch it out for a TA31. Then all I have to do is order a crap load of XM193. Below are some before and after pictures please let me know what you think.

I like it, although a tricked out M4gery with an A2 upper has to be some sort of oxymoron.

Congrat, looks good!!
One question: what´s the system where you put on the foregrip? I´m looking for such a system for my midlenghts carbine. I don´t need much space for gear , but i like to put a foregrip on my weapon. Thanks, Daniel |

Looks good..half Colt..Half Bushmaster could this be the rifle the prophecy speaks of that will unite Colt and Bushmaster owners...
..I like it.RRA dont count cause everyone loves them.
