I started with a 20 inch BM flat top upper. Took the barrel off and put the 11.5 on. It was a little challenging at first but with help from here it all worked out. The only thing I am missing now is a new B/BC assembly and some sights. Once I get that I will check the headspace and test it out on the range.

My first AR build and hopefully I will build many more in the future.

Thanks for the comment. I'm sure more accessories will be added in the future. I think pistols are great toys. I should have went shorter the first time out for a pistol but I might SBR this later. Most of the parts were bought from AR15.com members.
