I am not sure how to remedy my problem:
I have a KAC RAS II and it seems to be pinching my gas tube. it pushes on the gas tube in such a way that it stops the bolt from glosing easily. I have to use the FA to close it an additional 1/8" of an inch. This is enough to cause a mis fire.
Any suggestions or remedies?
Thank you in advance.
Thank you very much for your post!
I never thought about taking the bolt out and cycling it to pin point the problem.
I did what you said and cycled it without the bolt, it seemed fine. This made me worried.
I than reassembled the bolt and carrier and found that the gun works fine now... Go figure... I did not locate thr problem, it may have loosened up as I relubed all the parts and let it sit.
This gun doesnt get shot as much as it deserves.
I will hope to test it on the range soon.
*** This is a fairly new armalite but I recently changed the 20 thin barrel to a 11.5" heavy barrel with a tactical setup.
