It took about 10 days from the time I shipped to get mine back and it to was sweet. Good folks that ADCO. They will get more work from me in the future. |

I am going to have them thread my post ban. Will they charge you extra if you send in the whole upper? because I do not have the tools to take the barrel off myself.

I’d like to know also. I have a Bushmaster post ban upper I would like done. I have a couple of questions. How much did they charge? Did you supply the flash hiders or did they? They did a great job. Colt_SBR |

I've shipped 3 uppers (less the B/C/CH) to ADCO with the handguards installed and they didn't charge me any more for them. ADCO's prices are posted on their website and, yes they do stock the A2 and Phantom flash hiders.

Were these chrome lined barrels? Will cutting and crowning cause the chrome lining to flake?

No mine were regular chrome-moly. I don't know what the chrome-lined scenerio does to it. Don't you need to have the crown rechromed in that case? |

They must be Mid-length? I've got a middie and a Phantom I'm just itching to send to Steve at ADCO, but I just haven't come off the cash yet. I will though......... SOON.

Yep, both mid-length I got from M-A Parts a couple years ago. Me likes mid-length. Turn around time was about 10 days. Mostly because UPS takes so long. UPS sucks wind now. US mail is way faster. |

Of course not. That is the sillieast thing I ever heard. Its been done thousands of times and noone ever has had the chrome flake. You have over 5000 posts and did not notice the chrome bore does not flake threads that pop up every month in all that time? |

I got my upper back from ADCO a couple of weeks ago. I love it and ADCO was great to work with.
Have you tried putting an M-7 bayonet over the flash hider? Mine won't go over it. Wolf |

Bugss, Alloy.....when did you guys send off your uppers for the barrel work? Did you have Phantom 5C1s installed? I sent mine off on OCT 7th, and it's still not back. I was told earlier that they were out of 5C1s, but it seems others are getting theirs in 10 or so days still. No response to my last email inquiring about status. I guess I'm just getting impatient.

Thanks. The lighting was great that day so I should have gotten another pic with the Aimpoint and TD VFG on it. Hopefully it will clear up around here long enough for me to do that. |
