I wanted a 12.5" 22lr upper to mimic my 12.5" 5.56 SBR. So I got a stripped Spikes upper, a CMMG barrel and action, a Troy 11" rail, a set of Magpul Mbus sights and a Primary Arms 1-4X scope. All but the scope mount arrived yesterday, so off to the work bench. The result-



The barrel was sent to ADCO to be chopped to 12.5 inches and threaded for suppressor use. I run my SRI jailbroken AAC Eco9 can on it. With CCI or Remington subs, it's stupid quite and cycles 100%.

I'm running it on my 7.5" lower, because the 22 action will not function 100% with my Geissele SSA trigger in my 12.5" lower. I'm running a ALG Combat Trigger in the 7.5" lower and it works fine with it. I think that in the future, I might get another Spikes lower and SBR it for the 22lr upper.

Since yesterday, I have ran 600 rounds through it...it's so much fun with subsonics and the suppressor..

I have shot more 22lr through my Eco9 since jailbreaking, than I do 9mm.
