If I mounted a scope to a flattop upper, wouldn't the front sight block it's view?

with a 4x scope (or more) you won't have problems

Thanks for the quick reply!

Do you know why that is, that 4x or greater doesn't have problems?

in a 4x scope (or greater) the front sight will occur way in front of what the scope is able to focus on. so at most, it will be a slight blur.

I've got a TA01NSN mounted on my M4gery with a standard front sight. Slight blur, no probs though.

TA11F on flat top upper here. (3.5x)

What front sight? Oh, that one. Didn't notice it at all when looking through the scope, but I suppose if you try to notice it then maybe you'll see the slightest of blurs.

It's like there's no sight post at all.
