Just got a Nikon p-223 scope for the rifle.
So many mount options to choose from.
Any recommendations?

Thanks In Advance

Aero precision makes a mount that I would feel comfortable dropping that scope into.

Which model of P223? The 3X model can't use most standard mounts or rings.

Get the Nikon scope mount made for that scope, it works extremely well

Just wanted to ask in case I was missing something better.

As so many have stated, Nikon's P-Series scope mounts will do the job for you. Solid lock up and priced right. I have them on multiple AR's and no issues. If you had Nikon's P-223 3X Carbine scope you would definitely need 2 piece mounts because of how compact that scope is. One of my favorites for hog hunting in TX.
