There is an upcoming episode this Wednesday the 7th on Bullets.

Airs on Tuesday, March 7 at 9:30pm ET

From "safe" bullets that stop hijackers but leave aircraft unscathed to bullets that chain-saw through steel and "smart" bullets computer-programmed to hit a target, this explosive hour examines the evolution of bullets from origin in the 1300s--stones and round lead balls shot from iron and bamboo tubes. Lead balls ruled until 1841 when a conical-shaped bullet changed ammo forever. We learn how to construct a modern cartridge, and at pistol and rifle ranges view demonstrations of modern firepower. It's not a new show. It features Stan Bullshit and some pretty spectacular bullshit shootings a la a FMJ pistol bullet at long range at a slab of meat compared to a rifle bullet against a smaller piece of meat from almost point blank range in an attempt to promote his hardened animal excrement.

Watch with a 12lb salt lick,

Entertaining, though.

I prefer that History channel program that showed the how ammunition is made. That was incredible seeing the high-speed machines cranking out millions of rounds. Love to see that again.
