Cheap Scope for occasional plinking.  Cheaper than Dirt.  Under $59.00.  The only reason I am looking at it is that it is supposedly Parallax free.  That might be worth looking into.  What do you know about these?  Any good?  Anybody heard or know anything on these?

I picked up a cheap millet scope a while back, not as fancy as the one you just described and I paid around $100 locally. Seems all right, but like I said havn't used it yet. Just giving you a free bump and hopefully someone with more info will chirp in shortly.

Bump and further scope question.  I've had a handful of people tell me that a 'decent little cheap scope' is the BSA RD30 [30mm] Matt black, at Walmart for about $30.00.  People say that these actually work at about 5-6 MOA  but hold zero, and can handle the drop test.  Just looking for some "decent and reliable little cheap red dots" to stick on all 5 of my ARs.  No combat intended.  If the Millets are as good, and Parallax free, they'd be worth it, wouldn't you suppose?

I also was considering the Millet Red Dot and the BSA (from Wal-mart).  I read some of the reviews on www.midwayusa.com and found that the millet was rated higher.  The millet I'm speaking of also has a 3MOA.  Not bad for $70 and good user ratings.

My Marlin Camp 45 ate a cheap BSA red dot.  Don't waste your money.

I dont have the red dot but the gold series 6x24x55 and I cannot say enough good things about it.

Excellent scope, very nice and crystal clear on my DPMS .308.
