Was having a discussion with a friend over the availability of military optics to the general public.

Can you buy the same scopes from Trijicon, Aimpoint, and EOTech dealers that are issued to the military and LE agencies.

I was under the impression that the Aimpoint CompM2 I have on my 458 SOCOM upper is the same gear that is going around the world with our boys. This is NOT why I bought it, pricing from GG&G was, but still wondering.

I understand military goods will be serialized differently, or include NSN numbers, but are they identical otherwise?

Thanks,

Ed

Yah, you can buy just about everything that is issue these days. As long as your not exporting there aren't allot of regulations other than self imposed by companies on the sale of optics.
