Looks a little too fragile for a tactical rifle. I'm also not a big fan of wires hanging off of firearms.

How does the OKO attach to the SC-4 mount? Does the plastic legs of the OKO attach to the mount and the SC-4 mount attach to the guns rail?? This would be better than the simple cage idea of the SC-3, where the OKO's legs attach to the weapon and the cage just fits around it.

What kind of batteries do the OKO's use and how long is their life compared to an Eotech or Aimpoint?

OK. Thanx for the info. One more question. Noticed that Brownells sells the SC2 and 3. Do you have any plans on supplying them with SC4 mounts???

You can purchase an Aimpoint model M for $370. Seems quite a price jump ($170) from the original OKO (around $200) for just the IR filter and a pressure switch. Then you have to spend another $70 for the cover to improve the overall robustness. Has the battery life improved as well?
