I was looking for a new reflex sight and these caught my eye (specifically, the Mepro-21i).  Anybody have any opinions?

Its a copy of the Trijicon Reflex and has all the same problems it has, primarily reticle wash out.

Lumpy is right.  I knew a guy that bought one when they first came out.  From what I remember it's a little bigger than thE trijicon reflex and had the same reticle problems that the 1st generation reflex had, which is a little worse than the reflex 2.

I would say don't worry about the reticle wash out.  I've got a trijicon reflex and unless your shooting at a white wall in extreme sunlight it is never a problem.  If you are shooting at a white target it takes about .05 seconds to black out the filter and your good to go.  This is with the 4 moa dot.  I would assume larger reticles would be even easier to pick up.
