Hi, I have two of my AR15's that I installed the Rock River Two Stage trigger. I love the triggers, but was wondering if there is anything better out there. I have built an AR15 with a floated 16" hvy barrel in the style of the new Rock River DEA Rifles, but only its in 7.62X39 caliber. I also have ordered a DPMS Panther .308 w/ 18 bull barrel. I plan to upgrade the triggers in both of these rifles, but I am not sure if I want to go with the RR two stage on these also. I am happy with the Rock River, but I was wondering if there is anyone out there who has tried others that have any preferences or recommendations. I want to try something different, if its better! LOL I have never tried a Single Stage however, so I know absolutely nothing about those.

Knights Armament is the best 2 stage trigger out there IMO.

Will these install , generally, without modification?
Is there a large pin version?

There have been members who have modified the KAC to fit in COlt big hole lowers but generally no they dont have a large Colt pin version. They come preadjusted and loctited and have cheater pins so you can install in a milspec lower in about 3 minutes tops.

The Milazzo breaks the best of any AR trigger that I've ever owned, however, availability is about zero. I had John Holliger tune a RRA for me and the feel is quite different from the Milazzo...........but it shoots as good (or better!)

If I was to get a new AR Trigger today, it would be a Holliger tuned RRA.

I like the Jewell, especially since it has user-friendly adjustments for first- and second-stage weight, sear engagement and overtravel. By tuning, you can make it feel the way you want. Mine needed minor adjustment after ~1,000 rounds and has been trouble-free for >12,000 rounds. The rifle is a spacegun for NRA Highpower and Long Range competition, and I run 16 oz on the first stage and 11 oz on the second with minimal sear engagment and overtravel.

I second the motion for a Jewell trigger.

Thanks for the advice,
Where would you recommend getting a Jewel trigger?

Another Question! Has anyone tried the Chip McCormick match triggers that drop in?
Or have you heard any news (good or bad) about them?
