Im looking to replace my stock MOE hand guard with a DPMS free floating quad rail. I want to replace the gas block with a Yankee Hill flip up front sight. The description says that it will fit barrels equipped with the standard A2 front sight and I want to make sure all the parts will be compatible before I purchase. I have been dabbling with this rifle and am trying to do my own custom work. I have most of the tools I need, but can't remember the specs for my barrel. Anyone have experience with this particular rifle? Any advice is greatly appreciated!
What specs do you need? It's a .750 gas block, midlength gas system
FWIW I would recommend either the ARMS 71L or the PRI flip up gas blocks if you really want that configuration.
Better would be a clamp on low profile gas block and just use an extended handguard, then a flip up sight on the top rail.
