Couldn't resist the deal @ PSA on the M&P-10. Thinking I'll put a Vortex Viper PST on it, the question is which one.
I'm aware of the M&P stringing shots when hot, plus there aren't many places in N. Ga for shots over 2-300 yards except at a range. So I'm thinking a 2.5-10 or 4-16. Recommend me one and suggest a mount too if you're inclined.

300 max, 2.5-10 is all you'll need

I have a 4-16 on my 308, and it is about perfect for it.

I went with a (nightforce) 2.5-10 on my M&P10. I feel like that going much bigger on a semi auto, especially the lightweight M&P10, starts losing its purpose.
<8lb M&P10 + 19oz 10x scope = awesome. |
