All of the lowers I have used were gray looking (different brands). A little rub makes a world of difference.

Rub it with oil and see what happens. I'd just go ahead and use it. Given time and use, it will all start to turn the same color.

CLP did make a huge difference and it looks normal now. I have gotten several different brand lowers/uppers and they have never looked like that.
I accepted the transfer because the machining looks top notch and I was going to use them if they were gray or not. |
