Now I did a little sanding to make everuthing smooth :
I made some finger grove in it and twist it a bit:
Some beadblasting :
Installed and blued ( I did it for now with cold blue, when I have more spare time I do a hot blueing for better result )
Looks good. What did you use to cut it out with? Do you have a press that you used to curve the handle part and put the grooves in with?
I use a normal handsaw for metal, for the curve I used a round piece of metal put it all together in the vise and used a hammer. Here
thats preaty hardcore there. how long did it take. im lazy and would throw down the $15
It took me between 3 a 4 hours, it was not a rush job....I needed something to do with my spare time.
My previous job was a double safety selector but I didn't take pictures from the progress. I will take a few now when installed on the AR and put them on the bord.
the ONLY tools you used ?
Too cool! Can I have it?
Why not? That is probably more than whot they use in Peshawar to make AK47's with.
TheInvisibleSoul, yes that's all I used exept the drillingmachine and the round piece of metal for the curve, they are not on the picture.
To everybody , thx for all the nice comments h.gif
