Have installed Ranger and L Plates on some of my 30 round mags. Can get 30 in but it is hard. Can't seat mag on a closed bolt with 30 in. Is this normal?

I find the stock ones to work fine for me.....
 .....never used a after market one even with new springs and followers..

I load 29 in my USGIs with L-Plates.
30 in my stock USGIs, 30 in my Lancers, 30 in my PMags, HKs are only good for photo ops. ~Augee |

18 in a 20 Works great never have a problem getting a mag to seat ... |

all my pmags with the ranger plate do the same thing...my first magazine is loaded with 28,..all the rest are 30. Snap in place fine with the bolt & carrier locked back.
