[ARCHIVED THREAD] - Magpul PRS AR10 and AR15 will they interchange?

I have an AR10 and AR15
I have seen the only difference maybe is the cheek rest is farther back on AR10
If you bought a PRS for AR10, can you remove it and put it on the AR15?
Mainly for running nightvision.
Are the buffer tube sizes the same, and the front where it attaches the same?
Just wondering if they are that much different in models

Everything is the same between the A15 and A10 versions except the forward cheek piece and the cheek riser. Both stocks use the same tube size to mount to.

You can interchange them with no problem. You're correct, the AR10 PRS cheekriser is just shorter in lengnth to make room for the longer charging handle. Hope this helps,

Can you tell me how much shorter the cheek piece is?
Are you able to get a good cheek weld using an AR10 stock on a AR15?
The AR15 has Victor's D740 4x NV scope on it some of the time.
But most of the time will have an Aimpoint 3x w/Eotech
Most of the time the PRS will be on AR10
