Archived [ARCHIVED THREAD] - Magazine Chargers for Swiss Stripper Clips

I just received some of the 5.56mm 63-grain Swiss from the Ammo Man.  The ammo is on plastic stripper clips.  Does anyone know of a charger that will fit these stripper clips and allow you to load AR-15/M-16 type magazines?

Currently, none exist.  Rumor has it that somebody may be producing one, but I wouldn't hold my breath.

Supposedly, the Sig 550 guide will fit over the AR mag and work to some degree.

There has been talk of creating a guide that will work with the swiss stripper clips, but I haven't heard anything about it recently.

BTW, good luck getting a Sig 550 guide here in the states.  You'll have to go to Europe or Canada for one.

The 550 guide will work on AR mags. It fits
alittle loose though. I posted a pic of one on
an AR mag a few months ago, here in the ammo
discussion. Brou is right, The Shooting Edge
has them(they're out of Canada).

Not quite correct on the 550 guides.
$14.95 on sale and he has a bunch.
