Hi guys,

I'm looking for opinions on the best mag carriers out there.

I'm going to be using this for tactical matches so ideally I need something that:

Holds 2-3 mags
Is quick and easy to draw from
Will attach to a standard belt (doesn't require any additional load bearing gear)
Is sturdy (I'm going to be running, squatting, going prone etc)
Doesn't cost an arm and a leg

Thoughts? Thanks!

I use this rig from Tactical Tailor specifically for the purpose you mention. Relatively inexpensive, high quality, modular, and fast to use mainly because there are no cover flaps to get in the way. I have no complaints with this setup.

I use this modular leg rig with these pouches.

You can't beat gear made specifically for that purpose..

I've used the 2 AR mag belt pouch and it works wonderfully!!

Not to derail, but along similar lines is there anyone who makes horizontal mag holders for a belt or MOLLE/etc. attachable?
