If there is a local vendor that will let you test fit mags with your lower, that might be the best bet. Olys are known for tight mag wells. You also might contact C Products. They now provide mags for Oly.

I had a Oly with a tight magwell. D&H fit perfectly. I tried over 30 different D&H mags and they all fit. It was hit or miss with my box of used USGI.
I have a Stag lower that I was having the same problem with. The problem ended up being that the trigger guard was getting in the way. The back of the mag was getting in the way so I filed a little bit from the trigger guard and now any magazine will fit in it. |

My Oly has worked fine with everything I have tried (Orlite, Aluminum Mil-surp, new aluminum, stainless steel) except for one brand: John Masen's knock-off of the Colt 9 round mag.

My Olympic lowers work just fine with just about everything I've tried except NHMTG 20s and some of my Adventure Line 20s.
Colt 20s, CP, and D&H all work just fine. Any magazine that only drops free in my Colt gets a blue dot on the base plate. |

Gents: My Rock River seems to love every magazine...my Oly (first AR) seems to have a very tight mag well....is there a particular magazine I oughta try? TX! v/r Walt K

Old pre-ban Labelle, Okay industries will most likely fit. They fit in a tight Wilson Combat mag well also, IME.
