ok I have posted about my naked M-4 already and got some great ideas for things I can buy since my unit has nothing to issue us but like I said before i am working with a military income so i need to find some stuff that will not make me broke for the next 5 years lol..anyone got any suggestions?

hanging shit on your gun just to do it is retarded.
start acquiring accessories when they fix a problem. if you absolutely must bolt something to your gun, i suggest a good light and perhaps a VFG. |

You can find some good accessories on cheaperthandirt.com and in several e-bay stores. It is not all stuff that you would take to Iraq, but for fun and adding a personal touch, they work just fine.
I added a UTG quad-rail for 50.00 and a green laser for another 55.00 or so. Not bad. |

A nice scope would be my first add-on.
Then comes additional magazines and ammo. That's it, finished! I'm not the Mall Ninja type. |

If you are building an military M4 clone, the necessities are a KAC M4 RAS (including the KAC VFG), a Matech 600M BUIS, weaponlight (Surefire), and optic (ACOG TA01NSN, ACOG TA31-RCO-M4, Aimpoint Comp M2 w/QRP or LaRue Tactical mount, or an Aimpoint Comp M4). The best source is the Equipment Exchange. I have saved quite a bit going there.
