On which retros would this scope be 'acceptable'?

I've seen some on a few A2s. How 'bout IDFs or BHD?

TIA!

I have one on an A1 clone. I bought the scope a few years ago and put it on one of those NOS Chrome Bore uppers CDNN was selling at the time.
The Colt instruction booklet that came with the scope is dated 1982. Though I think these scopes were sold to the commercial market and never on a military rifle, I have always liked this combination.

Without looking it up I think some of them were issued to troops in Vietnam.

Edited:  I am sorry, I thought you were talking about the 3 x 20.  My bad.

Years ago I was on man-days for a UCI prep.  I know we turned in 3 Colt scopes to Dr. Mo but I don't remember if they were 3X or 4X scopes.  A lot of units will buy stuff like that as COTS items then issue it out.  Did the 4X scopes ever have an NSN?  I don't know but it sure wouldn't surprise me if a unit bought them with their own budget for issue to their personnel.
