My LGS had an MGI Hydra in 5.56mm. Modular design that breaks down and stores in a small Pelican type case. Examining the gun it appears to be good quality and an interesting design w/available calibre changes. Anyone here have any experience with one? I want to research it before buying one.

I would be interested in their Belt Fed Hydra; but have to wait until its made from some other material than unobtainium.

MGI used to have a presence on ARFcom. When their sales rep left, they fell off the map here.

Most people do not change things around enough to need a Hydra, but it does most everything they say it does.
