I recently purchased a Colt M4 side sling adapter for my bushmaster with an M4 barrel. I installed the adapter and noticed it does not fit very tight and will shift slightly. Is this normal, or should it fit rock solid when pinned on?

Thanks!

Mine fits a little loose too...I was thinking of coating the underside with that thick "paint" stuff they use to coat tool handles...

I used a small strip of black electric tape under mine- makes it a bit of a pain to get on- but it doesn't budge once it is installed- hope that helps.

Wow, I installed a Colt SSA on my Bushmaster pre-ban M4 upper. I had to file the underside of the gas block on the front sight post to get it to wedge under there. Even after that, it had to be forced on.
