I'm in the process of building an 11.5" ar, and I am starting to order the pieces for the upper. I can't decide whether I want M4 cuts or not.

Will it be easier to get an 11.5" barrel with or without the m4 cuts?

You don't really need M4 cuts unless your SBR will fire auto

Personaly I would go with them. It depends on Who's barrel you are going to use. Most of the Class A co. Like Noveke,CMMG,COLT and LMT barrels come std. with M4 cuts.

My LBC upper does not have M4 cuts but the Noveske barrel will. From what I have gathered this will not be an issue so I am not worried about it.

I am going to mount a Jennings 9mm to the front. Will that make a difference? Ooops, wrong thread.
