Here's a good link to that thread:

Choosing the best collapsible stock for you.

But I don't recall there being any dealer listings for CAR stocks.

The only CAR stocks Eagle Firearms has are fixed. An M-4 stock and CAR stock are not one in the same.

Unless you want a genuine Colt CAR stock, you have to be careful to avoid the inexpensive Chinese versions. They are very little money but you get what you pay for. I don't recall Colt's version being that easy to find. You should look in the EE here.

Are there any specific reasons why you want a CAR stock? Please understand I'm not giving you grief for wanting one. I'm just curious, that's all.

My bad!!

I thought the Collapsible AR15 stocks were refured to as "CAR" stocks

I guess what I am looking for is a "M4" Stock

Thanks for the heads-up!

Nothing to be sorry about. Maybe I'm wrong. Heck, Rock River Arms calls "M4 stocks" "CAR Tactical stocks" but that could be because of copyright issues with Colt or because "tactical" gear sells.

Regardless, go to the Equipment Exchange here and look for used ones. I just sold (2) RRA M4 stocks (without buffers or springs) for $35 each. You can get new mil-spec M4 stocks made by CMT for around $65.

The stock you have pictured is an M-4 stock, not a CAR stock. The OP thought he was looking for a CAR stock but in actuality wanted an M-4 stock. Variablebinary already posted pics showing a CAR stock and an M-4 stock. Here's is the fixed CAR stock that Eagle Firearms sells:

CAR stocks and M-4 stocks are often confused but, as I stated previously, they are not the same thing. RRA refers to their M-4 stock as a "Tactical CAR" stock. Eagle Firearms however uses the correct nomenclature for their M-4 stock.

Eagle Firearms' site has a 2 different pages for stocks. One of them is the URL you listed and the other is this one: AR15 buttstocks. The CAR stocks is not listed on the page you gave but it is on the main buttstock page.

In case anyone missed it, the OP has already purchased an RRA M4 stock off of Gunbroker.
