We have good and bad manufacturers of AR and mini 14 mags.  Does the same hold true for M1A mags?  What are the ones to stay away from?

Thanks Troy.  As always your insight is appreciated.

The chicom 20 rounders are very good mags also. They have a lighter park finish then usgi and have no markings and usually come packed in alot of grease. Anything else is pure junk!

YMMV, but don't load them and leave them loaded as they are made cheaper, w/ thinner wall thicknesses and pre-loading causes sides to bulge and not fit mag-well, they are crap too IMHO, go w/ Troy's comments and buy only USGI 20s.
