Does anyone know how much 7.62mm M118 LR ammunition go for ? As part of a cost analysis at work, how much does a lot of 1,716,030 rounds of M118 LR ammo worth ?

FWIW, a friend and I tried some of this M118LR. It shot terribly in both my AI-AWP and his LTR. The worst my AWP has shot anything else including FGMM 175, 168, BH 168, BH 175, Lapua 155, and 175 and 155 SMK handloads is 0.7MOA. The M118 shot worse than 1 MOA at 220 yards.

FWIW, the government is refusing to buy this particular lot due to problems with the #43 match primer. Don't be surprised if alot of Lake City "XM118LR" ammo is going to flood the market in the near future.

That might explain why it shot so poorly.

In that case, they'll probably sell it loosed packed in 1000-round cases and call it................................XM118LRPD
