Thanks, this is my first AR I'm building starting w/ a gutless lower.  I'm sure I'll be asking for recommendations for the rest in the very near future.

A. You need a at least a C&R for that and B. As of last week, they are out of stock on them.

Am I reading that right? "You need at least a C&R for that" as in lower parts? If so, not true.

To buy at dealers price from Brownell's, true. To buy at retail, not true.

Brownell's out of them? Not surprising, they've been selling like hotcakes in the last few weeks, but, Tony at Del-ton.com has them in stock (Last I heard), his prices are pretty competitive too.

However, I've found some on e-bay listed ranging from very nicely priced to absolutely absurd.

No.

My reply was strictly in reference to buying a DPMS LPK from Brownells for $44

I'm going to order through ADCO....i noticed there is a note besides the shipping price stating "48 states only".  Does this have anything to do w/ shipping to CA?

Nah,

You're good to go. 48 states means contigious states. This excludes Alaska and Hawaii.

I was just curious if there's any benefit besides a couple of dollars savings to order from ADCO (or other online vendors) other than Rock River themselves?

Well, Steve's a real nice guy and fellow forum member who has great customer service. Plus he builds really cool rifles and posts pics of them here for us to drool over.

So, the more stuff we buy from him, gives him more money to build cool rifles and more cool pics for us all to look at.

Of course the same goes for MSTN, JTAC and all the other providers of cool rifle pics!
