I just bought a bunch of ameetec arms lowers, and I would like to start sourcing out parts for them.

I have only owned Bushmaster lowers, that were complete from the factory, so I know very little about LPK's. What have you used, what do you like, and why, and where do you get them?

Thanks for helping an assembly newb,
Scott

Lately, RRA from ADCO.

Like $58 with shipping.

I'm on my 4th one.

Or buy a complete kit that has everything but the lower from a company like Model 1 , M&A , J&T and others .

My JT lower is pretty top-notch. RRA is also good.

RRA has a pretty reasonably priced parts kit. Here is a link to assembly instructions. http://www.ar15.com/content/guides/assembly/lower/

I just used the instructions to assemble a lower. It had been a while since I had done it, but the instructions made it easy.

JT Distributing is top notch. Colt markings. The only way to go.

I can't find their colt LPK on J&T's site, can someone post a direct link to the page with the item? All I see are individual parts, but not in kits.

Edit: Nevermind, found it. click search and type in LPK.

RRA, from wherever i happen to be, usually at Azone

RRA and DPMS seem to be the nicest I've used.

RRA and J&T, and Armalite were all good....Model 1 had some minor issues, and the DPMS kit I used a couple of months back had very out of spec takedown pins. Based on that, I'm sticking to the 3 that worked.

Another vote for the RRA LPK's. I have also used two from Bushmaster lately with no problems.

+1 for RRA & adcofirearms.com

I only use RRA or ArmaLite kits. There is a difference.

The last DPMS kit that I used had a grip screw that was about 3/8" too long.

I've built three lowers, two Ameetec, using DPMS parts from Brownells. Not that first problem with any part. Trigger parts for all three were RR NM two-stage though.

Fulton Armory - the best components I've used, and the best customer service, too. They will mix and match for you and go out of their way to make sure that you are happy.

RB precision has them in stock. $59 shipped.
ADCO is a good one, but if you are in a hurry to get one, your choices are limited.

They charged me $9.25, and that shipping was also for a buffer, tube, and spring as well as the LPK.

The JT parts look high-quality and were easy to work with. No complaints so far.
