Don't know about anyone else but...
I was at the Hickory NC gunshow last weekend. There was lots of ammo to be had a good prices. Wolf 223 in 55 and 62 gr could be had for $119 out the door per k. Wolf Gold for $200/k and YES Guat 223 for the going rate less shipping (um I think I remember 230 for 1440? or somethingk like that) and 7.62x39 was available at about $100/k of course there was the local luny who wanted $8 a box of M193.... I stocked up  and the typical 440 rnds of 7.62x54r for $32 and spam cans of 8mm mauser for $35 for 440... all is not lost! |

Im glad your Fun Shows Have Stuff. The Local Show In Jacksonville NC Always sucks for ammo. theres more people selling swords knives and airsoft crap than guns and ammo.

A vender at the Indy fun show had XM193 for $99 per case of 500. He had lots of cases too.

Should have bought all the 7.62x39 @ $100/K.......you aren't going to see that price too often anymore.

yea, but why hoard something I have no weapon that will shoot it?
I'll let it for those who "need" it....  and NO I don't need another reason to buy another rifle... |

I'm guessing you're female? That isn't male logic. I bought my AR because I'd had a dozen Colt 20rnd mags for thirty years or so. I needed something to use them with, so I surrendered to the inevitability of it all. As long as they're not selling 7.7 Jap or something, load up and worry about the hardware later. |

Yeah, I accidentally bought 100 pieces of .45 Colt brass the other day instead of .44 Magnum, so I'm thinking "ok I need to get another revolver".

heh, yeah there was one time I bought some 8mm ammo, and then went down to the sporting goods store and bought the rifle to shoot it.
I also have a couple boxes of 28ga, but I have yet to locate a 28ga shotgun for sale to shoot it. couple more weeks and I'll be home and awaiting the next show. I haven't been to one since this time last year. |

*SOME* 8mm? I bought 1400 rounds of 8mm, and then threw in about 880 rounds of 7.62x54R - both for rifles I didn't own yet. What is this? Amateur night?
