We are losing the PR battle on the AWB badly on KWTX TV out of Waco.  They actually did a pretty good news piece, but currently, their poll has shows most (65+%) support extending or new bans.  The link is:

www.kwtx.com  and their phone number to vote NO on extension is 1-800-330-6056.  Lets turn the numbers to our favor

Rather than try to stuff the polls, you should spend your energy trying to educate people.

A lot of these people have no idea what  it's really about.

I had a friend in the HPD call me on Saturday asking me about the AWB, and wanted to know my views on it, as he knows I have a few AR's.  Every point he had was straight off the Anti's play page, and this is the stuff many of his peers were believing.  I gave him valid arguments about each specific point he had/made (I won't repeat 'em all ad nauseum: we've seen it all before).  Suffice it  to say, by the end of the call, he was convinced that the AWB and any future AWB is stupid, and that as a police officer, he should concentrate his efforts on making sure bad guys go away and not limiting law abiding citizens.   He said that "our talk really opened (his) eyes."  He now (from what he told me) favors stricter punishment for those that use guns in crimes vs penalazing law abiding citizens.

It's like being an evangelist for the truth... spread the word, my brothers and sisters.  Can I hear an Amen?
