As my black rifle collection grows, so does my need for transporting them to and fro and having to carry three rifle cases to the range is a pain in the ass.

So I am looking for a soft case that has a divider for two rifles and some compartments on the outside for accessories and such.  Do you all have any recommendations?

I found a 3gun oriented one from voodoo tactical, but I'm sure there are other options out there and my searching has been fairly fruitless.

Thanks in advance.

I bought this one on craigslist for $50 new and it's amazing. I like it more than my Barret rec7 case that I spent over $100 on

I also like the above posted Voodoo.  I got my 42" from Sportsman's Guide for about $54 shipped.  You need to have a membership with them to get in on the deals, though.  Regardless, I love this case.

I place my Daniel Defense M4V5 ar-15 and my Mossberg 930spx in it and also my Glock 19.  I have plenty of room for another pistol in the adjacent pouch.  I can cram more than ten 30rd pmags easily in the front pouches.  It's even comfortable using it slung on my back in "backpack mode".

Actually that one is different than the one I found.  And it's a little less expensive.  I did see a post in AR discussions a while back that was a similar case to the standard two rifle one from a different company for 50-ish dollars.  That would be a bit more in my price range at the moment, as I am not really doing anything intense going to and from the range.  But that does look like a good case, I may just have to wait a week before getting it.

If you want one built like a tank, check out I-shot bags. I have two and you can fit two ar15s in each.

My Drago case has really impressed me. Got it on eBay for a reasonable price. Durable construction with heavy duty zippers. Plenty of storage space too.

I got a Drago from cheaper than dirt that I've really liked.  All of the stitching and zippers are fairly heavy duty, and it is a pretty reasonable price. $73.10 is what it's currently going for off of their website.

Blackhawk has the weapon transport two rifle soft case. A little spendy compared to the others mentioned.
They show up on gunbroker occasionally.

Matthew,

Do you have the 42" IShot?  Also, does yours have the metal D rings and strap clips made with plastic?  I have an older one and I heard they went to plastic hardware and that is keeping me from buying another one....you are correct, the bag is made like a tank, sans plastic hardware.

I would recommend against the Voodoo tactical case.  I have used one for some time and its unbelievably frustrating to not be able to move the inner straps that secure the gun inside the case.  Its a one size fits all type of deal with this case and that doesn't really cut it anymore.

Voodoo is junk. I had the same problems as justin_schuyler does. Awful quality!

Another vote fro Drago bags.  yeah, they are just a safariland clone, but they seem to be very well built out of quality components.  I really like mine, use it for 3 gun matches.  I can literally load everything I need for the match into that bag.  Makes it one heavy SOB, but I can do it!

I too would have to say to not go with that voodoo case. I have one including 2 other friends. Mine and one of my friends stitching busted on the backpack strap d-ring where its stitched on the case and the zipper is messed up. Im looking into Eagle cases. For me, I had 1 ak and 1 ar with 4 ak mags and 3 ar mags with 5 TI25 mags for my ruger 10/22 (these dont weigh anything) and the backpack strap connected to the case ripped and my case with my guns swung like a pendulum, threw me off balance, and my guns hit the deck... not cool.

I have the 36 inch version. The hardware is plastic, but it is very good quality. Seems as tough as the plastic that pistol frames are made of.

I have one of the CTD double cases with outside pocket.  It worked ok for a while but the stitching on the pocket is ripped out, and now the sipper pull has broke.  Sad thing is my wife had  seen me with this case and she had bought me a green one just like it.  Now I will only carry one rifle in it due to fear of it tearing apart.  I have a old Blackhawk single case that I bought at a gun store used and it has been gtg.  Next bag will be something that i quality since it is carrying more than a bb gun.

I shot bags might be your answer, but they are not cheap. Made very well.

I have one from Safariland. I love it. It has molle all over the front and some big pockets that stay flat when they're empty. I found it somewhere for around $100 and I think its absolutely worth every penny. Here's a link. FYI, my Safariland logo came blacked out.
