Looking for a certain type of A1 handguards

[ARCHIVED THREAD] - Looking for a certain type of A1 handguards

As I've seen them A1 triangular handguards come in 2 types: one with a slicker, "shinier" finish, and one with a duller flat finish. I am looking for a set of new or like new ones of the dull flat black finish (not the "glossy" ones) for a retro project I have going. Anyone have any idea where I can find these specific ones?

Thanks. I checked Armament Intl. and they don't have older stuff---but everything new!

I could buy from, say, Sarco but you don't know which type you'll get.

Keep your eyes open on the EE and Ebay. There are new ones out there. I have one set but don't want to get rid of them at this time.

did'nt see any full length handguards tho

All his other stuff is top notch

here are his short handguards, moderator and 607 stock

Willg had some not too long ago, just like the ones you describe
