I know I've seen several threads with 6.8 in the title but I never read any of them and now I can't seem to find them.  

I read a series of posts in a different forum here at AR15.com and it sounded like the Army at least could move to the 6.8.  Also, it sounded as if some are suggesting replacing the 14.5" M4 with a 16" mid-length 6.8.  

Can someone provide a link with a decent summary of what's up with the 6.8 and what's being looked at as far as rifles to fire it?
