I currently am running a Millett DMS  with a rifle I received in trade and I am rather disappointed (read appalled) at the quality of the glass.

I have a Leupold MK4 CQ/T on another rifle and I am well pleased with it.

For this rifle, which is going to be a light(er) weight bug out rifle I am debating getting another CQ/T or giving Burris a try.

I am looking to keep the optic price between $700 and & 1100 What say you guys?

Also take a look at the Trijicon TR24. It is lighter/smaller than the other two you listed, has daytime illumination, and is in your price range. I love mine(TR24G).

If you do go with the Burris I'd skip the red dot. I never saw the point of a red dot with a 1x optic.

BURRIS XTR without the red dot....you already have true 1x.

Well I have decided to go with the Burris XTR (with the red dot)...

Any suggestions on a mount?

If you shoot NTCH, then you should get a Larue LT-139.

I'd set the rilfles up the same optics wise.  Keep it consistent.
