I've been a Bushmaster guy for a few years now but am hearing a lot of good things about Rock River Arms ARs.  Anyone have pics of their RRA baby they'd like to share ???

Well, here's mine. It was my first AR. I thought and thought and finally decided I wanted a 20" rifle. Wanting versatility I went with the flattop. A couple weeks after getting it I shot it at a High Power match. I've been shooting HP with it ever since. Other than a RRA NM trigger its a basic RRA standard flattop. It shoots great. It will eventually evolve into a full DCM NM rifle. I can easily say it influenced two friends of mine to get RRA rifles as well.

StarAtari, where did you get those mag clamps? Who makes them? If you don't mind me asking.

Guntoting_Spartan -

It's a 4 MOA OKO Reflex and I like it quite a bit. Easy to see, easy to adjust, accurate enough out to 300 meters, light weight, and reliable.

The BUIS is an ARMS #40.

Everything co-witnesses perfectly.

What about the flashlight & mount ??

JoeBud  what rear sight you have on that 20" RRA ?

Hey cnatra,

I believe (correct me if I'm wrong) that JoeBud's rear sight is a DPMS.  To me it looks a lot like a cut-down carry handle with a second bolt for attachment.  Kinda cool!

I got the upper from CMMG. If I recall correctly its a DPMS, pencil thin barrel with Wilson Brake. Colt M4 handguards, Wilson multipurpose attachment point, SureFire G2 light, RRA fixed telestock.

5.75 lbs as is, without mag.

So Gus, you're able to co-witness with your setup, right?  Just how much of the front site can you actually see through the Aimpoint?

I WENT WITH THE M4 ENTRY POST BAN, THIS IS  A GREAT WEAPON AND GREAT SHOOTER, MY OTHER RRA IS A 20 VARMITER BUILT TO THE GILLS WITH THE BEST OF SHOW WRITTEN ALL OVER IT. THE NEXT ONE WILL BE JUST FOR SHOOTING IN THE FUN, MAYBE A 16 INCH FLAT TOP WITH TRICON SIGHT SISTEM.

I can see the front through the rear peep clearly through the Aimpoint. They align about 1/3 of the way up in the optics. Out of the way until needed....

Does Pete-in-nh have a website, store front?
The pics that StarAtari put on the board makes me want to get in contact with this smith; any help please?
Thanks.

To my knowledge, Pete does not have a website.  You can get in touch with him by going into the Industry forum (click Industry at top of the page below the communities header) and look in Legal Transfers.

Here's his contact info:

Pete of Legal Transfers in NH
Po Box 172
Plaistow NH 03865

[email protected]

I hope it's okay that I posted that info here.
