Archived [ARCHIVED THREAD] - Larue upper/lower receivers vs BCM receivers?

I've been wanting a receiver set from BCM but they are on back order. I heard alot of good things about Larue and would like to give them some business. I started looking at their receiver sets that are in stock but the price is a bit more. What is the justification for the higher price? Are they that much better receivers? Help me justify this. Thanks!

A lot of billet receivers cost more. They are nice but overkill. Pretty much they are cnc'd from a block of aluminium instead of being forged.
